SUMMER FASAMiLYMPICS IN THE PARK

When: July 31st, from 11am - 8pm

What: This is a new FASAMi Family Picnic event that will feature a 5K run/walk for all ages. Lots of games and prizes for kids and young once. This is a potluck picnic but food will also be available for purchase thru Ate Corina. The 5K run/walk will be like any sporting event where winners will take home a medal. Adult registration is $5 and kids under 16 is $2. Participants will be divided into different age groups. There will also be a Bike Parade for kids and the best decorated bike will take home a sweet prize.

JUNIOR VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE

When: August 7, 2010 - December

What: After last year's successful inaugural coed junior volleyball game, the committee has decided to promote the Junior VB League this summer. Plan: A 6-week league between 2 coed teams of children ages 7-14 y.o. who possess fundamental volleyball skills. It has been suggested to divide the team based on residence, eastside vs westside. Assistance and cooperation from the parents are strongly encouraged to make this a success. More details to be posted soon on the Volleyball page.
